When camping out in nature, you quickly notice how practical a small table can be. Having a flat surface for cooking, coffee or gear actually makes a big difference at camp.
During several of my trips I therefore use a small portable aluminum camping table that I ordered from Temu. The table is extremely compact when folded up and takes up almost no space in your pack.
In this article I go through how the table works in practice outdoors and how it works together with other gear, such as my hot tent from Temu – review after a cold night in the forest and my tent stove for hot tent camping.
What is this product
This is a small portable camping table made of aluminum alloy. The construction is designed to be as compact and light as possible, which makes the table well suited for camping, outdoor life and shorter trips in nature.
The tabletop consists of several interlinked aluminum slats that roll up when the table is packed down. The legs fold out from underneath and click easily into two crossbars that stabilize the construction.
When set up, the table's size is roughly:
- length: about 41 cm
- width: about 29 cm
- height: about 13 cm
This makes the table fairly low, and it works best as a small work surface close to the ground. It works well, for example, for placing a camping stove, a coffee pot or other things you want to keep off the ground.
When packed down, the table becomes very compact and fits in a small storage bag.
How I tested the product
I've used the table on several trips in the forest, where it's mainly served as a small side table at camp.
During the test the table was used, among other things, to:
- set down hot pots
- put the cup on
- organize gear in the tent
- keep things off the ground
The table works just as shown on the product page, and setup only takes a few seconds. You fold out the legs, click the two crossbars into place, and then put on the tabletop.
One thing I tested was using the table inside the tent together with my tent stove for hot tent camping.
The table's legs are rounded and not sharp, which means it can be placed directly on the tent's groundsheet without risking damage to the floor. That made the table extra practical as a small side table inside the tent.
Pros
There are several things that make this table really practical at camp.
Very compact
When packed down, the table becomes extremely small and takes up almost no space in your pack.
Quick, intuitive assembly
It only takes a few seconds to set up the table once you've done it once.
Light but stable
Even though the table is very light, the construction feels stable enough to hold both cookware and other gear.
Good for cooking at camp
It's very practical to be able to set hot pots or coffee pots on a flat surface instead of directly on the ground.
Also works inside a tent
Since the legs aren't sharp, the table can be used inside a tent without risking damage to the groundsheet.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides to this table, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
Low height
The table is only about 13 cm tall. This means it works best as a low work surface close to the ground.
Not made for heavy loads
It's a small camping table, not a large dining table. It works best for smaller things like cooking and gear.
Who the product is for
This table is especially well suited for people who:
- camp often in nature
- want an ultralight camping table
- want to be able to organize gear at camp
- use a camping stove or cookware
It also works well together with gear like a hot tent and a tent stove, since it provides a practical surface at camp.

For such a small and cheap table, it actually performs surprisingly well.
